Synopsis

The film tells the story of Cassiel, "the angel of tears". As Raphaela, his companion, Cassiel is one of the guardian angels who look over Berlin, the reunified city. They are invisible, gentle and loving, but of course powerless: they cannot interfere with people's lives, they can only talk to their hearts. But one day, out of the blue, Cassiel give up his eternity and becomes a man in order to save the life of a little girl.
