O'Horten, directed by Bent Hamer, will be theatrically released in France this Wednesday, 18th of June.
Presented in the Official Selection Un Certain Regard at the Festival de Cannes last May, the fifth film by Norwegian director Bent Hammer is an invitation to a humorous and poetic journey.
Bent Hamer was already present in Cannes for his first four films Eggs (1995), Water Easy Reach (1999), Kitchen Stories (2003), and Factotum (2005), selected by the Directors' Fortnight

In the words of Bent Hamer as regards his film: "From my very first feature, Eggs, I became interested in seventy-year-olds, which went against most of the films produced at the time. I once again directed old people in Kitchen Stories. In reality, I love working with elderly actors. Not so much for their professional experience as for their experience in life: I love to capture their very special rhythm and relationship to time."
